This is my word for 2008. Ali Edwards has a post about choosing a word to define you, your year. So, here's my word. I'm determined to do a lot this year in all facets of my life: be a better mom, better wife, do things for me, be healthy, exercise, work on my crafting, evolve in my crafting, maybe even make a little money with my crafting. I want to be good to me! I am to a certain extent, but you know how it is, other things always come first and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way, but I want to do some things for me this year. So, what's your word?!?
It has been cold here this past week, but today was absolutely GORGEOUS!!! 70 degrees, sunny, it was AWESOME! The family went for a walk this morning, 3 miles round trip. It was INCREDIBLE!! We walked to the top of the new Cooper River bridge, well it's not so new anymore..over a year old. But, we made it to the top and the view was beautiful! We saw dolphin from up there and lots of boats. The boys really enjoyed it! It was just such an awesome feeling, I must have yelled 1/2 dozen times, because I was so excited I actually made it to the top!!!
Oh, and my brother and sister-in-law should now be in Australia! Okay, I'm SOOOO jealous! That's the ONE place I want to see/visit before I pass from this world. They are in Sydney and then taking a cruise around the continent and on to New Zealand to cruise around there. I can not wait to see their pictures and hear the stories. So, this brought up a convo between my hubby and I, where do we want to travel .. anywhere in the world? This is our list thus far:
